January 9, 2018 — Adam Ezra

Adam Ezra

Last out, first in!  Almost exactly a year after our last concert in the old house, Adam Ezra returns to join us for the first concert in our new one.

In January and February, Adam Ezra comes off tour with his band in order to play 40 living room concerts for fans all over the country.  He calls it The ‘Get Folked’ House Concert Tour, and out of many, many people who applied, they’ve chosen us to be a host. Again! (But in a new house, so it’s new to you.)

Here is an example of what he sounded like at our house last year. (Special thanks to Elmo for the video!) If you were there, you know you want to come back for more. If you weren’t, well why not come see what you missed?

Show starts at 7:00 PM.  $25 suggested donation, and all the money goes to Adam. Get advance tickets here. Seating is limited, so get ’em while they’re HOT! If you order before midnight tonight, then you’ll have a your tickets before midnight tonight!

Adam Ezra gave us an awesome show!  Audio is now available at the Internet Archive. There’s a special new verse in The Basement Song; check it out!

Next, I go back and process the Native Run show too! Eventually I’ll get some scripts set up to do it quickly.

Thanks to Adam for a great show, Melissa for saving the day, and everyone for coming down and being a great audience. As far as I can tell, there were no riots, explosions, or people yakking during the music*.  Thanks everyone!

Stop jumping on the sofa, you crazy hippie!

Another show in the old house!  While we wait for building permits, you don’t have to wait for Adam Ezra!

“For me, a great concert should feel like a conversation amongst everyone in the room,” explains Ezra, holding fast to the notion that the best shows are those in which there is a give and take between the performers and the audience.

This is a solo acoustic show, and so may well sound a lot like the music here. Of course it’s Adam, so the setlist will go wherever serves the feel of the night.

Show starts at 7:30 PM.  $25 suggested donation, and all the money goes to Adam.

We were going to wait until the new house was ready, and then the party came looking for us!

Show starts at 7:30 PM.

High-energy country with a serious, serious groove!  Native Run (Rachel Beauregard and Bryan Dawley) formed in Jammin Java one fateful afternoon at the suggestion of mutual friends.  After playing for a few hours in a little practice room, magic started exploding everywhere, and they felt like they’d just found another planet!  They immediately went to the booker for Jammin Java and said “Please book our CD release show at your earliest convenience,” to which he replied, “Do you have a CD?”  They did not.  They booked a show anyway, and the rest is history!  www.nativerunmusic.com

$20 suggested donation at the door, with all money going to the performers.  Email treefroghouseconcerts@gmail.com to reserve a seat.  No tabs or calls, you got to BYO.
